More

Cookies are delightful.
At some point one more cookie loses its appeal.
Even coffee, of all things wonderful, hits a threshold after too many cups.

When it comes to reward, increased stimulus correlates with diminishing return.
This phenomenon occurs with more than reward.
Your brain is built to pursue more.

Whether it is money, knowledge, or work, your mind will always be able to define a level of more.
If you find yourself feeling unaccomplished at the end of the day, this is an underlying factor.
You may have accomplished 5 things but you naturally fixate on 3 more things left incomplete.

With coffee or desserts, your stomach will tell you when more is not a good option.
With work and to-do lists, you lack a physiological indicator.
As a leader, sometimes your role is to be the stomach for your team.
