Testing

When you try something the first time it is easier to temper your expectations for performance.
Your mind is more apt to sit in a space of testing rather than mastering.
The challenge is to remain in a testing mindset longer than you are inclined.

After the first test, your mind begins to make fixed expectations around subsequent attempts.
Before you know it, you unconsciously move into a mental construct fixated on mastering.
While this shift brings motivation, it can limit essential space for exploration and failure.

As a leader, consider how you create the conditions for your team to maintain their testing perspective.
Performance and mastery will come.
Having discipline in cultivating a testing mindset will maximize long-term potential.
