Questions


There is an incomplete concept about questions.
It is the idea that great leaders ask questions.
While better than asking no questions at all, this misses the point.

Asking questions in service of proving your point is destructive.
Poking holes in a plan with questions will offer diminishing value.
If you find yourself asking a question about which you already have an opinion, stop.

Asking a question is the result of the state of being curious.
Thoughtful leaders focus less on what to ask and more on who to be.
Ask questions that matter.
