Entropy
In physics, entropy is a condition correlated with disorder in a system.
The second law of thermodynamics, simply put, states that a system isolated from external energy will increase in entropy.
Without energetic intervention, the natural state of a system is to become disordered.
Your inbox, without some energy, will default towards entropy.
So will your brain.
When your mind feels disordered, you are experiencing entropy.
Leaders are accountable for clarity and direction amongst a team.
Clear direction is the outcome; fuel is what is needed for it to be created and maintained.
Providing direction is insufficient without the fuel necessary to get there.
When you solve for clarity, do you address energetic capacity?
While the direction may become clear, you risk accelerating entropy by using more fuel to create it.
Thoughtful leaders are a bastion against entropy.
