Communicating through a myriad of platforms adds increasing layers of complexity.
Within the added complexity lies context, interpretation, and subjective perspective.
Communication on one platform is plenty challenging, never mind five.

Not being direct makes communication exponentially more challenging.
Being direct may lead to some initial messiness.
It will also lead to clarity.

The purpose of communication is clarity.
Ironically, you forego directness for the sake of trying to be nice.
The kindest thing you can do is be clear.
