Training

When you train for something, you build capacity.

You do not train for a task by repeatedly doing the task without differentiation.

A marathoner does not train by running daily marathons.

Requisite to any training plan is a timeline.

The timeline creates accountability.

It establishes an end-date at which point you evaluate your capacity.

Training without a timeline is like parachuting off the back of a couch.

You have everything you need, but you will never utilize the capacity you have built.

Training is a means, not an end.

The solution to your problem is not training.

The solution is defined by a net-new outcome derived through increased capacity.

This outcome is bound and shaped by a timeline.

Training does not solve problems.

Clearly defined capacities for future performance solve problems.
