Silence

Leaders creating space for silence amidst constant noise is as essential as pushing for action or driving results.
Silence can be created by the intentional act of not saying or doing the next thing that comes to mind, just yet.
In that moment of pause, however brief, your mind and the world around you catch up with each other.

Great leaders find ways to create that silence for their team.
They also recognize the moments in time when the world creates it for them, and protect it.
There will be time to act again in the future; but for now, take advantage of the collective silence that emerges.

A healthy brain is filled with focus, play, social time and problem-solving.
It also is filled with rest, reflection, and tuning out.
Set the podcast aside and allow the silence to let your mind tune out as you transition to winter.
