Finish Lines
When you run a race, you do not step on the finish line and immediately halt.
You run through it, and immediately begin searching for doughnuts.
Going from full speed to stopping cannot happen suddenly.
When you finish a meal, you do not throw away all your kitchen appliances and dishes.
You clean them and store them for later.
Though the meal is finished, there will be more in the future.
Conversely, when you finish a project, you tend to halt and discard.
A project is not over upon delivery, nor are its components ready for disposal.
Your perspective around finishing matters more than finishing, itself.
