Alignment is the longest swear word in the English language.

Of all common business phrases, alignment ranks low.

"Can we align," sits slightly above, "I cooked fish in the microwave."

1. Arrangement in a straight line, or in correct or appropriate relative positions.

2. A position of agreement or alliance.


Definition 1 represents simplicity and organizing for performance.

Definition 2 is reminiscent of turf wars.
