Up

Gravity, rollercoasters, and even the tide all represent a common metaphor.
There will be ups and there will be downs.
The down is not the loss of upward momentum; it is the necessary continuation of momentum that enables future ups to emerge.

On a rollercoaster the down is thrilling.
In non-gravity-centric scenarios, the down phase can feel like a loss.
The upward momentum is enthralling and upon completion the ensuing down-space feels lethargic and empty.

The tendency at the conclusion of a major milestone is to try and dive into the next big thing.
Take time to embrace the down, despite the allure of what is next.
Do not mistake the discomfort of the down for losing valuable upward momentum.
