There are many pithy quotes about plans.
Mike Tyson has an impactful one.
Yet, you do not need to get punched in the mouth to learn a lesson.
Planning, from an organizational perspective, is valuable.
It allows you to track progress.
It also validates that you are, in fact, doing things.
Planning, from a predicting-the-future perspective, is a trap.
Plans are not called laws for a reason.
They are an idea of how things could go, but, in the moment, have little bearing on reality.
Make plans.
Do not become attached to your plans, unless you are an oracle.
