Action Potential

Neurons are foundational to your ability to sense, think, and act.

When a neuron receives an input, a threshold of stimuli must be met in order to pass along a stimulus.

The threshold is all-or-nothing; either the neuron acts, or not.

 

Leadership is no different.

Your ability to create action is predicated on understanding the threshold for action.

It also relies upon your ability to mobilize your team to go all-in once that threshold is satisfied.

 

Defining and meeting the action potential threshold is your job.

You could spend your time restrategizing or fine-tuning.

Or you could lead like a neuron.

After all, you are made of 100 billion of them.
